NCFE Digital Imaging

The concept of this project, was to produce a successful logo for a skateboard company, and two pieces of clothing accompanying the item. I targeted my design at the older generation, to illustrate that they can still be active at any age. To create my idea into a visual design I used the program Adobe Illustrator CS5, to produce a clean cut logo to be placed on the three items.

Unit 12 - Computers in Art and Design

For this brief I picked out a magazine at random and chose Tado. The design of the magazine had to reflect on their style, so that it was selling themselves. Tado having a fun approach to their work, had been incorporated into my front cover. By using bright colours to reflect on their style, as well as, to emphasise the type of work they do. I recreated and created my own monster designs therefore, it illustrates the type of illustrations Tado produces. Furthermore, to know more about Tado, an article was included on the inside of the magazine that still reflected on their style.

Unit 39 - Typographic Design

The aim of this project was to use different words and create them into visual items. By using their meaning to express the words pictorial and typographical, without using any other items but the phrase. As well as, there were certain guidelines to follow through the project, which were not to stretch the type and use the helvetica typeface. On the other hand, we were able to re-size and cut up the type. My final 5 designs were: Split, Reflection, Magnetic, Acrobatic and Shatter.
